Abstract
Purpose: We worked on Diabetes Mellitus by aiming to observe the connection between HbA1c-fructosamine and metabolic control. Method: We specified the degrees of fasting blood sugar- HbA1c and fructosamine, cholesterol and triglyceride) on 25 healty and 59 diabetic patients. Results: In our work, we couldn't find any interconnection between HbA1c-sexuality and fructosamine sequality in the healthy and diabetic groups. In the diabetic subjects, we have fonuld that the HbA1c (%10.84±3.93), fructosamine (318.27±117.03 $mu$mol/L) amounts were higher than healthy patients. There was a statistically significant difference between the goodcontrolled and the bad controlled groups from the point of HbA1c (p=0.002), fructosamine (p
