Abstract

Congenital anomalies of the fascial nerve are of great concern to the surgeon performing ear surgery. Dehis-cences of the tympanic segment of the fascial canal are rather common. However, anomalous coursing of the fascial nerve associated with developmental abnormalities of the stapes is rarely seen together with congenital auricular and nonauricular abnormalities. In this article, a case of congenital stapes footplate, fixation with suprastructure abnormality and anomalous coursing of the fascial nerve, and previously operated because of 'tetralogy of fallot' is represented.
