Abstract
Rectus sheath hematoma is a rare entity oftenmisdiagnosed as acute abdomen. Prompt historywith careful physical examination and appropriate imaging studies are helpful for achieving thecorrect diagnosis, which is important for avoidingunnecessary laparotomies. In this article, we report a 80-year-old female patient on oral anticoagulant therapy due to atrial fibrilation who developed rectus sheath hematoma.
Özet
Rektus kılıfı hematomu, nadir görülen ancak akutkarın ile karıştırılabilen klinik bir durumdur. İyi biranamnezi takiben yapılacak dikkatli bir fizik muayene ve uygun görüntüleme yöntemleri ile doğru tanı konulması gereksiz laparotomilerin önlenmesinde önemlidir. Bu yazıda atrial fibrilasyonnedeniyle 3 ay önce oral antikoagülan tedavibaşlanan ve rektus kılıfı hematomu gelişen 80yaşında bir olgu sunulmaktadır.
