Intravenous lipid use in Mirtazapine intoxication

Abstract
Drug intake from antidepressant andantiphychotic groups are observedfrequently within the patients brought toemergency departments in intoxicationclinic. In those patients who are treated forintoxication, main therapy is supportive in most of the cases if there isn t any specialantidote for the drug or chemical. In thismanuscript, intravenous lipid therapy ispresented in patient whose general condition was worsened in spite of supportive therapyafter intake of antidepressant, mirtazapine.

İntoksikasyon tablosuyla acil servisleregetirilen hastalar arasında antidepresan veantipsikotik gruplardan ilaç alınımına sıkrastlanır. İntoksikasyon nedeniyle tedavialtına alınan hastalarda ilgili ilaç veyakimyasal ile özel bir antidot mevcut değilsegüncel tedavi çoğunlukla destek tedavisidir.Bu yazıda mirtazepin adlı antidepresan alımısonrasında verilen destek tedavisine rağmengenel durumu bozulan bir hastada uygulananintravenöz lipid tedavisi sunulmaktadır.
