Determination of the effect on the some properties of cotton plant of the different tillage and planting methods in Harran Plain

Harran Ovasında farklı toprak ve ekim yöntemlerinin pamuk bitkisinin bazı bitkisel özelliklerine etksinin belirlenmesi

Abstract

This study was carried out in 1996 and 1997 in Harran plain. It was determined the effects of tillage by mouldboard plough and chisel with the row spacing of 70, 76 and 90 cm in the conventional and ridge on the some properties of cotton plant The effect of the studied cotton production systems on the plant height was not significant The plant height was decreased, when the row spacing was increased. The height of the low boll was the highest for 90 cm row spacing in the both years. The other hand, the number of sum boll was found the highest for 90 cm row spacing in the ridge cotton production system tilled by mouldboard plough. The effect of the production systems on the boll opening rate was not significant in 1996 year, and was the high rate for 90 cm row spacing of tilled by mouldboard plough in 1997 year. As a results, for only the monitoring of cotton growing, the suitable for mechanised harvesting was found for 90 cm row spacing in the ridge cotton production system tilled by mouldboard plough.

Özet

Araştırma 1996 ve 1997 yıllarında Harran ovasında yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada, sırta ve normal sıraya ekim yöntemleriyle pulluk ve çizel ile toprak işlemenin 70, 76 ve 90 cm sıra arasında pamuk bitkisinin bazr bitkisel özelliklerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Bu özelliklerin makinalı hasada uygunluğu değerlendirilmiştir. Ete alınan yöntemlerin bitki boyuna etkisi önemsiz çıkmış ve sadece sıra arası mesafe arttıkça bitK boyu azalmıştır. İlk kozanın yerden yüksekliği her iki yılda 90 cm sıra aralığında yüksek çıkmıştır. Toplam koza sayısı sırta ekim yönteminde ve pullukla işlenmiş 90 cm sıra aralığında yüksek bulunmuştur. Koza açma oranı üzerine yöntemlerin etkisi 1996 yılında önemsiz bulunmuş, 1997 yılında ise, pulluk ile toprak işlemenin yapıldığı 90 cm sıra arasında daha yüksek koza açma oranlan saptanmıştır. Sonuç olarak sadece bitkisel özellikler ele alındığında makinalı hasada uygunluk sırta ekim yönteminde pullukla toprak işlemenin yapıldığı 90 cm sıra aralığında elde edilmiştir.
