Tığ İğnesi ile Oluşan Penetran Orbital Travma: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract
Penetrating orbital injury is uncommon but may cause significant harm to the optic nerve and eyeball. Rapid assessment and treatment of the traumas effecting orbital region is necessary. In this case report, the clinical and operative findings of a case with intra-orbital crochet needle were presented. This patient injured by a crochet needle which did not affect his vision and oculomotor functions and recovered without complications. Related to this case, some information concerning the ophthalmologic approach to intraorbital foreign bodies was provided.
Özet
Penetran orbital travma nadir görülen fakat optik sinir ve göz küresine önemli ölçüde zarara sebep olabilenbir durumdur. Orbital bölgeyi etkileyen travmalarda hastanın hızlı değerlendirme ve tedavisi gereklidir. Buolgu sunumunda, orbita içi tığ iğnesi nedeniyle kliniğimizde ameliyat edilen bir olgunun klinik ve operatifbulguları sunulmuştur. Tığ iğnesi ile yaralanan olgunun görmesi ve okulomotor fonksiyonları etkilenmemişve komplikasyon gelişmeden iyileşmiştir. Bu olgu nedeniyle orbita içi yabancı cisimlere müdahelede, gözhekimliği yaklaşımı hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.
