Özet
Samet Ağaoğlu, 20. yüzyıl Türk edebiyatında sıradan insanı anlatan öyküleriyle tanınmıĢ, genellikle karamsar, melankolik, kötümser kiĢiliklere yer vermiĢ önemli öykücülerimizden biridir. Liberal görüĢleriyle tanınan önemli siyaset adamı ve düĢünürlerimizden biri olan Ahmet Ağaoğlu‟nun oğlu olan Samet Ağaoğlu, sürgün, otorite ve nostalji duygularının etkisi altında kalmıĢtır. Genel olarak öykülerindeki kahramanların karamsar eğilimli olma nedenleri ise, sürekli olarak yaĢadıkları ölüm ve ölüm karĢısında duyulan korku ve kaygılardır. Ağaoğlu öykücülüğünü etkileyen diğer önemli bir kaynak da, çocukluğundan beri sürekli olarak okuyup büyük hayranlık duyduğu Dostoyevski‟nin öykücülüğü olmuĢtur.
Abstract
Samet Ağaoğlu, noted for his short stories telling ordinary people in the 20th century Turkish Literature, is one of the distinguished short story writers usually depicting the pessimistic and melancholic, characters. Samet Ağaoğlu, the son of Ahmet Ağaoğlu, who is one of our prominent thinkers and politicians and who is also known for his liberal views, is well under the influence of nostalgia, exile and authority. The reason why the characters in his stories tend to be pessimistic is death and the continuous fear of death. Another important resource that influences his authorship is Dostoyevsky, whom he has always read and admired throughout his life. In this paper, the position of psychoanalysis in Turkish literature will be dealt with, including the concepts of death fear and imitation.
