The practice of social policy in ancient Turks

Abstract
Turks have exercised various practices in the field of social policy in ancient periods as well in nowadays, and have left a lot of marks on ancient Turkic epitaphes, inscriptions, in such sources of verbal literature like epics, tales. It is very important to search and research those sources and compare them with present situation in this field. In this research author has concentrated over these sources by using relevant literature in Turkish, ancient Turkic, Khakas, Russian and English languages.
Özet
Günümüzde olduğu gibi eski dönemlerde de Türkler sosyal siyaset alanında çeşitli uygulamalar sahibi olmuş, bununla ilgili de hem yazıtlar hem de destan, masal gibi sözlü edebiyat kaynaklarında çok sayıda iz bırakmışlardır. Bunların incelenip gün ıĢığına çıkarılması ve günümüzde bu alandaki durumla kıyaslanması çok önemli bir alan temsil etmektedir. Bu araĢtırmada da bu alan üzerinde Türkçe, eski Türkçe, Hakasça, Rusça ve ingilizce kaynakların yardımıyla durulmuştur.
