Abstract
Objective: Clinical and experimental reports show that recession type defects can be successfully treated by guided tissue regeneration procedures. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a simple space making process in the treatment of localized gingival recessions. Material and Methods: Twelve sites in 9 patients were treated by this modified method. Three types of membranes, namely Titanium Reinforced Gore-Tex®, Resolut®, and Gore-Tex® (GTPM) were used after shaping according to the described method. Four membranes for each group were randomly fixed to the cementoenamel junction and covered by the flap. The nonresorbable membranes were removed 6-8 weeks after placement. The patients were recalled 6 months after reentry surgery. Özet
Amaç:Klinik ve deneysel çalışmalar dişeti çekilmelerinin tedavisinde yönlendirilmiş doku rejenerasyonu tekniğinin başarılı bir şekilde uygulanabileceğini göstermiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, basit bir boşluk oluşturma işleminin lokalize dişeti çekilmelerinin tedavisindeki etkinliğini ortaya koymaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Dokuz hastada on iki bölgeye modifiye edilmiş bu yöntem uygulanmıştır. Titanyum destekli Gore-Tex®, Resolut® ve Gore-Tex® bariyerler yönteme uygun olarak şekillendirilmiştir. Her grupta 4 adet bariyer rasgele olarak mine sement sınırı hizasından dişlere adapte edilmiş ve üzeri fleple örtülmüştür. Rezorbe olmayan bariyerler 6-8 hafta sonra çıkartılmış ve hastalar 6 ay sonra kontrole çağrılmıştır. Bulgular: Yapılan ölçümlerde 2.9 mm kök kapanması ve 3.6 mm klinik ataşman kazancı saptanmıştır (p
