Abstract
Alveoler bone defects which are the consequences of the periodontal diseases have been treated by conventional or regenerative techniques. The fundemental aim of regenerative procedures are based on to prevent the destruction of supporting structure of teeth owing to periodontal disease and the formation of new bone, new cement and new periodontal ligament that is to say regeneration. Last 25 years periodontologs have been more interested in regenerative and reconstructive techniques than resective techniques. Thinking that the treatment of horizontal bone defects with reconstructive and regenerative procedures will be a failure have caused to make less researches about it. This case report presents histopathological evaluation of the human horizontal bone defect which treated with putty demineralized freezed dried bone allograft (DFDBA) material.
