Abstract

The aim of this study is to make a power based comparison between tests of the hypotheses $H_o : rho = 0.0; H_s : rho neq 0.0$ and $H_o : rho = 0.3; H_s : rhoneq 0.3$ for the coefficients $t_b$ and $t_c$, using three different variances, and the test using bounds proposed in this study.
