East Anotolia watershed reclamation project

Abstract

Social problems related to the people who dwells near to the working area and high costed works have been prevented the development of afForestration and erosion control activities. For this reason, first aim is to solve social problems and second is to create financial source for the activities mentioned above. In order to reach to these aims a project named "Dogu Anadolu Su Havzasi Rehabilitasyon Projesi" has been prepared. This project provides possibilities for participating of the people at the phases of preparetion and application of the project.

Özet

Agaclandırma ve Erozyon kontrol Genel Müdurlugumuzun erozyon kontrol calısmaları esnasinda karsilastigi sosyal problemler ile çalışmaların yuksek maliyetli olmasi, uygulamaların istenilen seviyeye cikmasinı önlemiştir. Bu nedenle erozyon kontrol calışma sahalarına yakinındaki insanlarin baskisini azaltmak ve calışmalara kaynak saglamak amaciyla gündeme gelen yeni yaklaşımların bir ornegi de "Dogu Anadolu Su Havzasi Rehabilitasyon Projesi" dir. Projenin Turkiye'de entegre proje olmasi, yapim ve uygulama safhasinda yore halkinin katilimcilıgina imkan saglamasi, yonleriyle ilk ve giizel bir modeldir.
