The results of CVPD regimen in acute lymphoblastic leukemia

Abstract

t fite Results of CVPD Regimen in Acute iLymphoblastic Leukemia r ' ' Thk study includes 34 patients with acute lyphoblastic leukemia who were followed by Department of Hematology-Oncology in GAT A Haydarpaşa Training Hospital between 1990-1994. AH the patients received weekly cyclophosphamide, wneristine, daunorubicin and 29 days of prednisone (&VPD) regimen. Mean age of the patients was 24 (20-50) and 30 out of these patients were L1,4 were L2 according to FAB classification. Complete (emission was achieved in 29 patients (85' %) with CVPD regimen. Five patients died druring induction (15 %). The cause of death was infection in three patients and cerebral hemorrhage in other two patients. Mean complete remission duration was 16 "W/tf/js and overall survival at 5 years was 27%.

TA Haydarpaşa Eğitim Hastanesi, Hematoloji-f kliniği tarafından 1990-1994 yıllan arasında amid, vinkristin, daunoblastin haftalık uygula-r ile devamlı prednizolondan oluşan CVPD proto-ı uygulanan ve takipleri yapılan 34 akut lenfoblas-lösemili (ALL) hasta sonuçlarımız incelendi, rın ortalama yaşı 24 (20-50) ve FAB klasifi-nuna göre 30'u L1, 4'ü L2 tipi ALL idi. Tedavi sı 29 hastada tam remisyon elde edildi (% 85). arın 5'i kaybedildi (% 15). Bunlardan 3'ünde in-n, 2'sinde santral sinir sistemi kanaması ölüm r idi. Ortalama tam remisyon süresi 16 ay ve 5 (sağ kalım oranı %27 olarak bulundu.
