Some Points Needing Correction About Two Inscriptions From the Time of Calaladdin Bayazid of the Candarids

Abstract
There are problematic parts in the building inscription of Kastamonu Araç Kötürüm Bayazid Mosque and the restoration inscription of Sinop Alaaddin Mosque which belong to the period of Candaroghlu Calaladdin Bayazid . In this article, it has been pointed out that founder (bânî) name in the first and date part in the latter could not be read properly and clearly in any present studies. And it has been presented the correction of these problematic points and the historical data based on these inscriptions

Candaroğlu Celâleddin Bayezid Dönemi ’ne ait Kastamonu Araç Kötürüm Bayezid Câmii’nin inşâ kitâbesi ile Sinop Alâaddin Câmii’nin Candaroğlu Celâleddin Bayezid dönemi tamir kitâbesinin sorunlu yönleri vardır. Bu makalede, birincide bânî isminin, ikincide tarih kısmının, mevcut araştırmaların hiçbirinde doğru ve net bir şekilde okunamadığı ortaya konmuş, bunların ve dolayısıyla bu kitâbelere dayanılarak verilen tarihî bilgilerin tashihi teklif edilmiştir
