Abstract

OBJECTIVE: In this study we aimed to investigate and compare the effects of preoperative administration of progesterone and GnRh analogues (GnRH-a) and the intraoperative administration of Ringer's lactate (RL) on the formation of postoperative adhesions. STUDY DESIGN: We formed 4 groups each containing 12 wistrar rats. Group I: The group to which medroxy-progesterone acetate (MPA) was administrated. Group II: The group to which GnRh-a were administrated intramuscularly(IM). Group III: The group to which RL was administrated. Group IV: Control group. Bu çalışma ile postoperative verilen progesterone, GnRH analogları ve intraoperatif verilen ringer laktat'ın postoperative adezyonları önlemedeki etkinliklerinin araştırılması ve karşılaştırılması amaçlandı. Haydarpaşa Numune Hastanesi hayvan laboratuvarında, herbiri 12 Wistrar sıçandan oluşan dört grup oluşturuldu. Grup I: İlk operasyondan üç hafta önce 15 mg intramuskuler (İM) medroksiprogesteron asetat (MPA) verilen grup. Grup II: İlk operasyondan 7 gün önce IM GnRH analoğu uygulanan grup. Grup III: İlk laparotomide batın içine 2 ml ringer laktat (RL) verilen grup. Grup IV: Kontrol grubu. Tüm Wistrar sıçanlara aynı kişi tarafından müdahale yapıldı.
