Abstract
L monocytogenes is an important human food-borne pathogen that is widely distributed throughout the environment and that cart be isolated from many food products. In human listeriosis there is high rate of mortality and disease is largely confined to pregnant women, neonates and patients with underlying immunosupresion.

L monocytogenes geniş ölçüde çevreye yayılmış ve pek çok gıdadan İzole edilebilen, İnsanlar İçin önemli gıda kaynaklı bir patojendir. Listeriozis İnsanlarda oldukça yüksek oranlarda ölümlere nedeh olmakta ve genellikle gebelerde, yen doğanlarda ve bağışıklık sistemleri zayıf kişilerde etkili olmaktadır.
