Abstract
It is known that the Scythians (Greek and Greek masters) who started using coins from the early ages and later Gokturks cut their own stylistic coins. Coins, which started to experience the peak period with Karahanids and Seljuks, will now make themselves accepted by the citizens with their silver quality, writing styles and the values in circulation, and they will become a symbol of power and power. The Turkish coin history, which gives masterpieces with the Anatolian Seljuks, continued its course of development despite the Mongolian cruelty and economic destruction, and tried to survive in the Beyliks period, and managed to survive the “fear period” by cutting anonymous coins. With the establishment of the Ottoman Empire, the traces of the ancient Central Asian tradition continued to exist, and the Kayı height stamp and other stamps continued to exist until the principalities were eliminated. Although all the cultural elements related to the old Turkish life are included in the Islamic civilization circle, they continued to carry out customary law by moving out of the tradition. Arrow shooting cavalry continued to beat human face depictions, horses, ejdarha, lions, wolf, rabbits, pigeons, partridges, peacocks, fish such as fish on dirhams and coins. Sultans who cut coins in dimensions and weights that are suitable for the acceptance of their people, special to their own civilization and the commercial life that adorns it, never fled to show off. In the years when the Ottomans started to be economically battered, large and large sums of money began to be minted. Dinars and dirhams, which are printed with high settings and numbers that will shake the gold and silver reserves in the market, will not revive the market due to the bad economy. The cost of the coins crashed abroad will also bring a burden to the treasury, and printing costs and travel expenses will increase the shaking, except for the metal value. In fact, it is possible to see where the Ottoman economy was heading from the status of the coins, purchasing power, loss of settings, printing quality. By revealing this course to the examples of each period and the sultan, it will be tried to be explained with the numerical dimension of the development of the history of the coins of the Ottoman Empire, which began to break from the Central Asian tradition and the tremors in the economy.
