Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı eleştirel kuram bağlamında ideoloji ve eğitim ilişkisini çözümlemektir. Bu kapsamda öncelikle Frankfurt Okulu oluşumu ve tarihsel süreci anlatılmıştır. Frankfurt Okulu’nun çalışmalarını besleyen ideoloji eleştirisi incelenmiş ve Frankfurt Okulu teorisyenlerinin süreçte ideoloji kavramına ilişkin düşünsel dönüşümüne yer verilmiştir. İdeolojinin aktarım araçları vurgulanmış, en önemli aktarım araçlarından biri olan eğitimin ideoloji aktarımındaki rolü eleştirel kuram bağlamında irdelenmiştir. Eğitimin ideolojiden arındırılmasının gerekliliği tartışılmış, eğer eğitim ideolojiden arındırılamıyorsa ‘davranış değişikliği’ baskısının en aza indirilmesi gerektiği önerisinde bulunulmuştur.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to resolve the relation between ideology and education in the context of critical theory. In this context, primarily the formation of the Frankfurt School and its historical process were explained. The ideological critique of the Frankfurt School was studied and the intellectual transformation of the Frankfurt School theorists about the concept of ideology in the process was given. The role of education in the transfer of ideology has been examined in the context of critical theory, emphasizing that education is an important transfer tool of ideology. The necessity of purifying the education from ideology was discussed. If education cannot be free of ideology it is suggested that pressure on "behavioral change" should be minimized.
