Mallarme ve Valery'den Tanpınar'a Mistisizm ve Sanatsal Kaygı

Abstract

We notice in the studies and researches done on Ahmet Hamdi tanpinar that the dream, time and extasy concepts are often used in the verses of the poet. If we take into consideration the interest of Tanpinar toward the occidental thought and the French literature, we can not admit the influence of French poets on his poetic. It would not be incorrect to state tthat these notions delinmit essentially the mystic aspect of his artistic conception. In order to study this aspect of Tanpinar’s poetic, it would be useful firstly to touch upon his thoughts on the mystic poetry and the pure poetry in France between XIXth and XXth centuries. Thus we could understand by an absolute artistic care of Mallarmé and Valéry.
