Abstract

This text presents evolutions of the political discourse. Its analysis is based on linguistic characteristics of the discourses found in the internet and in traditional media. The main focus is given to show the changes in the syntax of the political discourse. In the present text, an analysis is proposed in order to perform linguistic analysis of the syntax. In the analyses, initially we focus on personal pronouns being an important element of the political expression. Then our attention was moved to such phenomena syntax as: the use of verbs; the construction of phrases; syntax of the oral expressions. Our conclusion is that the syntax of the political discourse has become more and more dominated by its oral, spontaneous and interactive form. Moreover, the rhetoric is enunciative and performative.
