NARRATIVE INDICATIONS OF TAHSİN YÜCEL’S SONUNCU

Abstract

Sonuncu is the story of an adventure in writing undertaken by the central character of the novel Selami Harici. The book, written thorough the novel is entitled “Serencam” which is one of the multiple references to Sonuncu, the title of Yücel’s novel. Serencam, which was named before it was written, arouses interest not by its content but by its appereance. The book which is not easily understood gains importance as an object. Tahsin Yücel’s “Sonuncu” turns into a wonderful novel with its many intertextual references and its fantastic narrative.
