Abstract

In this study Tuğrul İnal analysis ‘Un hemisphere dans une chevelure’ from Baudelaire’s Spleen de Paris and 13 pieces taken from Les fleurs du mal. İnal believes that through an empathic readinga work of literature achieves an artistic and aesthetic liberation and the text is rewritten in a certainmanner. İnal considers Baudelaire as a poet and aesthetic expert and analysis how this reflects onhis real and literary pursuits The Empathy Method allows the readers to experience Baudelaire overand over again in an intertextual context and a narrative style befitting the essay. Thus, the essayistbecomes an actor, an independent implementer affecting the whole and even the producer. Womenand symbol of Devil are depicted as a prima donna and protagonist in Baudelaire’s inner world.These prototypes of beauty, good, evil, death, life, heaven, hell and the fall, bring dialectic clashesto his dramatic works
