Abstract
In this final part of our study that focuses on French and Turkish women writers, we present thosewho published their works after 1970. For the French, we choose Andrée Chedid, Marie Chaix,Annie Ernaux, Sylvie Germain, Jeanne Hyvrard Michele Manceaux, Michele Perrein, BrigitteJacques, Françoise Dorin, Christine Angot, Marie Darrieussecq, Marie Ndiaye, Marie Radonnetand for Turkish, Adalet Ağaoğlu, Nazli Eray, Leyla Erbil, Latife Tekin, Duygu Asena, Ayse Kulin,Elif Safak. Some revolt against the literary tradition and culture of bourgeois society appears in thewritings of French writers, together they create their own fictional techniques. As for Turkish wri- ters of the late twentieth century, they wrote in various genres of literature, particularly the novel. They have expanded their vision by trying new writing techniques and setting a high level of artistic production. This does not mean that women writers have abandoned the responsibility to express the status of women in society. On the contrary, feminism appears as a strong theme in the writings of some Turkish writers. In conclusion, we found that “the gap” between Turkish and French wo- men writers has completely disappeared in the late twentieth and early twenty-first century
