Abstract
Francophone author, André Kédros, we will try to explain the reasons why he chose to write in French. Then, we will prove that the French language represents for him a tool of emancipation on two levels. Initially, he is released from the higher authority’s supervision, the servitude and the prejudice of the capitalist system, and thereafter, he is relieved of the application of established socialism and communist bureaucracy. This double emancipation aims to be the ideal of the human solidarity, an ideal resulting from the context of the European Socio-Christianism and the ideals of the French Revolution. In order to achieve this goal, he turns to a special imaginary “exotism” in which utopia and reality merge
