Abstract
Adamov, who writes on the absurdity of humans in his first works moves towards Brecht’s epic theater with his play entitled Paolo Paoli (1951) This play is viewed as the first of a new stage of writing and displays all economic, social and political dimensions of the period between 1900- 1914. In his plays following this initial one history takes the place of the portrayal of personal pains. In Paolo Paoli composed of 12 parts in every part the reasons behind the 1.st World War, the relations between the national powers causing war are reflected. The criticism of capitalist society that begins with Marxism composes the heart of Paolo Paoli.
