Abstract

In this article The Wine of Ragman (Le Vin Des Chiffonniers) is chosen as an exemplary text for thymic analysis. Thymic analysis is interested in such euphoric assessments dysphoric/ or, in less technical/ negative words, positive or pleasure/ displeasure. This work is in two parts: One stresses the formal structure of poetry, and the other studies psycho-semiotics/ semantics elements and meaning segments of the language of poetry. This study consists of three sequences, we first emphasizes the portrayal of the ragman. In the second sequence, the semantic and psycho-semiotics aspects of the verbs which used for symbolism of wine are analyzed. In the third, we study the transformation of the representational dimension of drunkenness in an abstract dimension of drunkenness: Ragman is a flâneur who prefers to live in the world by escaping from the pressures of society, but living as a philosopher in the world he created. He is free and lives from day to day. He tries to live frivolously and virtuously without worrying about the prejudices of others. In his poetry,, he is a person who prefers to enjoy drink without worrying about the rules of society. Ragman, like the poet, who wants to live in a paradise in this world, never yields to authority.
