Abstract

Tuğrul İNAL continues to investigate the philosophy of Baudelaire through the authors works and the use of the empathy method devised by the academician himself. The Empathy method can be applied to poetry, stories and drama. This method entails that symbolism and fiction and entails rewriting. The text that results from this is a parallel paradigm text. In the paradigm text reality converts into a surreality, and reality is recreated in the form of a story with a dramatic approach. Thus in the second text God, Devil woman are protagonists, and the issues of beauty-ugliness, good-bad, life-death, heaven-hell are handled as the narrator becomes the producer. In this analysis of Baudelaire’s aesthetic the narrator starts with beauty, dreams and love and continues with the imagery of death, pain, fear in a monologue
