Temporal distance characteristics of gait in the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Abstract

This study was planned in order to investigate the effects of diabetes mellitus on the temporal -distance characteristics of gait and balance in the patients with type 2 diabetes. Material and Method: The temporal-distance characteristics and balance of 30 diabetic patients with the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus, and 30 healthy patients were evaluated and results were compared in Dokuz Eylül University School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.
