Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of exercises training with and without equipment on the cardiorespiratory fitness and functional respiratory capacity. Material and Method: 'The study group exercises of 60 adults ages ranging from 18-22 years. All cases were divided randomly into two groups. Group 1(n=30) performed exercise without equipment whereas Group II (n=30) performed exercise with equipments, three days in a week, for a total of 6 weeks. Results: We found that cardio-respiratory fitness were statistically increased in both groups after 6 weeks of moderate exercise training (65-70 % of maximum heart rate) (p0.05). Conclusion: It was concluded that planned and regular exercise training with or without equipment have similar effects on health-related parameters.
