Abstract

The present investigation was planned to compare the differences in hand function of musicians and non musician subjects. Material and methods: 109 musicians were studied. 109 subjects who are non-musicians were selected as a control group. Range of motion of the hand was assessed using a universal goniometer. The Purdue Peg Board was used to asses the coordination of the hands. Grip strength and pinch strength were evaluated using Jamar hand grip and pinch grip dynamometers.
