The Fruit Producing Regions of Turkey

Abstract
In this study, by using the data of the average fruit production between the years 1992-1997 in provinces throughout Turkey estimated by State Institute of Statistics (SIS), 35 fruit distribution maps were drawn and 30 different fruit production regions were estimated by evaluating fruit ecology. In determining these regions, the areas where fruit is grown less or where fruit is never grown have been seen.
Özet
Bu çalışmada D.İ.E.'den alınan 1992-1997 yıllarına ait altı yıllık, ilçeler bazında ortalam üretim değerleri esas alınmış ve meyvelerin yetişme koşullan ile birlikte değerlendirilerek 35 meyvenin dağılış haritaları oluşturulmuş, bu haritaların üst üste çakıştırılması sonucunda 30 ayrı meyve üretim yöresi belirlenmiştir. Bu yöreler belirlenirken meyveciliğin yapılmadığı ya da çok az yapıldığı alanlar da kendiliğinden ortaya çıkmıştır.
