Abstract

"Störfall. Nachrichten eines Tages" is the name of Christa Wolfs story which carries otobiographic traces of the Tschernobyl (reactor) accident occured on April 26, 1986. The author has quoted from may texts in her story, thus she has used a technique called "intertextuality".this study, it has been carried out Freud's "The theory of instincts" among the quoted texts. The author searches the solution of how to get rid of the human beings from the annihilation (killing) instinct. However, the author makes the leading figure, who is also an author, act with the annihilation instinct results at intertextuality, opposed to her purpose, and proving the truthfulness of Freud's theory of instincts.
