Abstract

Beng ü Bade is an allegory written by Fuzulî. We can see some modern techniques in expression similar to the techniques of modern ages. We can also find a symbolic style in the language and expression of the poet who was one of the most important ones in Turkish Literature. There are some critical points of view about this work which was presented to Şah İsmail. Besides the opinions that it symbolizes Şah İsmail and Bayezid II and their companions there is also a thesis that regards this work as a simple humour or a sufic work which personifies drinking and using narcotics. This study deals with Fuzuli's style of expression and Bade that symbolizes Şah İsmail.
