Abstract

The aim of Faculties of Technical Education is to teach technical teacher for vocational education, and at the same time technical staff for private and public sector. However the students of these faculties have so many problems both during the education period and after graduation. The one of factors of students success is to derive from secondary school. For increase the success of students, these problems should be evaluated in the context student and university teacher and curricular. In this study the questionnaires have been applied 377 students of Faculty of Technical Education. Some recommendations have been given according to results..

Özet

Teknik Eğitim Fakültelerinin amacı, mesleki eğitimin ihtiyaç duyduğu teknik öğretmenler, aynı zamanda özel ve kamu kuruluşlarında görev alacak teknik elemanlar yetiştirmektir. Ancak bu fakültelerdeki öğrencilerin, gerek eğitim-öğretim sırasında gerekse mezun olduktan sonra pekçok sorunla karşılaşmaktadır. Bu öğrencilerin başarı durumlarında etkili olan faktörlerden biri de ortaöğretimden kaynaklanan sorunlardır. Teknik eğitim fakültelerinde, istenilen amaca ulaşabilmek için ortaöğretimden kaynaklanan sorunların, öğretim programı, öğrenci ve öğretim elemanı kapsamında değerlendirilmesi, gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada, bu soruna çözüm bulmak amacı ile 377 teknik eğitim fakültesi öğrencisine bir anket uygulaması yapılmış ve sonuçlar değerlendirilerek çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir.
