Uzbekistan and Its Foreign Politics After Independence

Abstract

Türkistan, Özbekistan, Rusya Federasyonu, ABD, GUUAM, Şangay İşbirliği Örgütü. Türkistan that remained closed to the world during the whale cold war opened its gates with its rich natural resources and 5 new Turkish Republics after the dispersion of USSR and started the New Great Game which the price is the domination of the world. Inside the new republics Uzbekistan has an unique place. Kerimov, the president of Uzbekistan, with his authoritarian management used the advantages of his country i.e. 26.5 million of homogenous population, great amount of Uzbek minority on nearby countries and rich economical resources and changed the country to a self dependent one but faced the threats of Russion Federahion time to time nevertheless overcomed this influence with the support of USA and showed the domination of Türkistan as the major target. Russian Federation and United States of America struggling each other especially after the 11th of September, 2001 have given a great importance on taking the control of Uzbekistan on Türkistan.

Özet

Soğuk savaş dönemi boyunca bütün dünyaya kapalı olarak kalan Türkistan, SSCB'nin dağılması ile beraber zengin doğal kaynakları ve beş yeni Türk Cumhuriyeti ile kapılarını dünyaya açmış ve ödülü dünya hakimiyeti olan Yeni Büyük Oyunu başlatmıştır. Yeni Cumhuriyetlerin içinde ise Özbekistan'ın ayrı bir yeri vardır. 26.5 milyonluk homojen nüfusu komşu Cumhuriyetlerde bulunan azımsanamayacak miktardaki Özbek azınlığı ve zengin ekonomik kaynaklarının verdiği avantajı iyi değerlendiren Özbekistan devlet başkanı Kerimov, otoriter yönetimi ile Özbekistan'ı kısa sürede kendi başına yeterli bir ülke haline dönüştürürken, Rusya Federasyonu'nun baskıcı taleplerini zaman zaman ABD desteği ile bertaraf etmeye çalışmış ve Türkistan hakimiyetini ana hedef olarak ortaya koymuştur. Türkistan'da özellikle 11 Eylül 2001 sonrası büyük mücadele veren Rusya Federasyonu ve ABD için Özbekistan'ın kontrol edilmesi büyük önem taşımaktadır.
