After Promulgation of Republic Investments and Expenses which were Done in Elazığ (1927-1950)

Abstract

In the period of Republic, the revolutions which were done in the country caused to arise an expactation and horizon for Turkish people in a little time. While the attack of development which began in the result of this, was being carried on with a great success, Elazıg got it’s shore and important progresses were made againts all of the negativeness. With the promulgation of Republic, the investments in East Region of Turkey were made entirely by the government . The public expenses in that Region which were highly left to service of security and public Works attracts attention. Despite this, region become one of the most prior table places in the bringing of other services.

Özet

Cumhuriyet döneminde ülkede yapılan inkılaplar Türk milleti için kısa sürede bir Umut ve ufuk dogurmustur. Bunun sonucu baslayan kalkınma hamlesi büyük bir basarıyla sürdürülürken Elazıg da bundan nasibini almıs, bütün olumsuzluklara karsı ciddi adımlar atılmıstır. Cumhuriyet’in ilanı ile birlikte Dogu Anadolu Bölgesinde gerçeklestirilen yatırımların tamamına yakın kısmı devlet eliyle yapılmıstır. Bölgeye yapılan kamu harcamalarının önemli bir bölümünün güvenlik ve bayındırlık hizmetlerine ayrılmıs olması dikkat çekicidir. Buna ragmen diger hizmetlerin gelistirilmesinde bu bölge en öncelikli yörelerden birisi olmustur.
