Destitution Sense and One of Necati Bey’s Ode

Abstract

It is obvious that the sense and thoughts of the poets are dealt with in their poetry. Necati Bey who has lived at the rising period of the Ottoman state and announced his name via his odes is on of the great poets of the Divan Poetry. He has given place to his feelings and thaoughts in his poems in addition to his using proverbs and public phrases with his nice Turkish. He has affected many Divan poets living after him with his enthusiastic and loving odes, and many imitative poems have been written for his poems. We have tried to explain one of his odes in his Divan in which he has dealt with the destitution sense. The poet has expressed very effectively the sense of destitution and loneliness in his couplets. The human being the part of the social life and his feelings have taken place in his ode.

Özet

Şairlerin duygu ve düşüncelerinin şiirlerinde dile getirildiği muhakkaktır. Osmanlı devletinin yükseliş döneminde yaşayıp, ismini gazelleriyle duyurmuş olan Necatî Bey, Divan şiirinin büyük şairlerindendir. Şiirlerinde deyim, atasözü, halk söyleyişlerini güzel Türkçesiyle kullanması yanında, duygu ve düşüncelerine de şiirinde yer vermiştir. Coşkulu ve âşıkane gazelleriyle kendisinden sonra yaşamış olan birçok Divan şairini etkilemiş, şiirlerine nazireler yazılmıştır. Necatî Beyin “kimsesizlik duygusu”nu dile getirmiş olduğu Divanı’nın gazellerinden birini şerh etmeye çalıştık. Şair kimsesizlik ve yalnızlık duygusunu beyitlerinde çok etkileyici bir şekilde ifade etmiştir. Gazelde sosyal hayatın bir parçası olan insan ve insanın duygularına yer verilmiştir.
