Abstract

Shari’ah registers are one of the most important archives resources of Ottoman history, due to the information contained in the document. Presenting Shari’ah registers giving detailed information about the period, are essential for the benefit of researchers. For this reason, the preparation of the contents of shari’ah register will be helpful fort the researchers in this area. This study is aimed to set a pattern for the studies made in this field by presenting and making index only one of the Shari’ah registers which has great importance for Turkish History and Culture. is prepared in order to help the researchers, seraching in especially history of Manisa and history of Ottoman.

Özet

Şerʻiyye sicilleri ihtiva ettikleri belge ve bilgilerden dolayı Osmanlı tarihinin önemli arşiv kaynakla- rından biri tanesidir. Neşredildikleri dönem hakkında ayrıntılı bilgiler veren Şerʻiyye sicillerinin araştırmacıların istifadesine sunulması önem arz etmektedir. Bu nedenle Şerʻiyye sicillerinin fihristlerinin hazırlanması bu alanda çalışanlara yardımcı olacağı muhakkaktır. Bu çalışma, özellikle Türk Tarihi ve kültürü açısından önem taşıyan Şerʻiyye sicillerinden sadece bir tanesinin fihrist ve tanıtımının yapılması suretiyle bu alanda yapılan çalışmalara bir örnek teşkil etmesi amaçlanmıştır.
