Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate pelvic limb bones of the feral pigs. For this purpose, 3 feral pigs were used. The ischiatic spine was sharp and high. The ischiatic tuberosity had three processes. The ischiatic arch was narrow and deep. The greater trochanter was on the same level with the head.The third trochanter was absent. Lateral intercondylar tubercle was higher than medial intercondylar tubercle. The fibula extended along the tibia. There was four metatarsal bones including os metatarsale 2, os metatarsale 3, os metatarsale 4 and os metatarsale 5.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, yaban domuzlarının arka bacak kemiklerini araştırmaktı. Bu amaçla 3 adet yaban domuzu kullanıldı. Spina ischiadica keskin ve yüksekti. Tuber ischiadicum 3 çıkıntıya sahipti. Arcus ischiadicus dar ve derindi. Trochanter major, caput ossis femoris ile aynı seviyede idi. Trochanter tertius yoktu. Tuberculum intercondylare laterale, tuberculum intercondylare mediale’den daha yüksekti. Fibula, tibia boyunca uzandı. Yaban domuzlarında os metatarsale 2, os metatarsale 3, os metatarsale 4 ve os metatarsale 5 olmak üzere toplam 4 tane tarak kemiği bulunmaktaydı.
