Abstract
Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between preoperativehematologic parameters such as neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (N/L), erythrocyte distribution width(RDW) and differences in preoperative and postoperative platelet values in patients underwentcoronary artery bypass surgery (CABG) and postoperative mortality, morbidity and other reasonsthat prolong hospital stay.Materials and Methods: This study included retrospective screening of post-surgical hospitalrecords of 670 patients who underwent coronary artery bypass graft surgery under electiveconditions due to ischemic heart disease without additional cardiac disease but no other surgeries. Results: A total of 670 cases (female=151 (22.5%) and male=519 of (77.5%)) were included in thestudy. After CABG, Atrial Fibrillation (AF) was observed in 2.5%, Major Adverse Cardio-CerebralEffects (MACCE) in 6.7%, and mortality rate was 4.6%. Preoperative high N/L ratio was found to beassociated with AF developing after CABG and adverse effects (P
Bulgular: Çalışmaya; 151'i kadın (%22.5), 519'u erkek (%77.5), toplam 670 olgu dahil edilmiştir. KABG sonrasında Atrial Fibrilasyon (AF) %22.5, Majör İstenmeyen Kardiyo-Serebral Etkiler (MACCE) %6.7, mortalite %4.6 oranında gerçekleşmiştir. Preoperatif yüksek N/L oranı, KABG sonrası gelişen AF ve advers etkilerle ilişkili saptandı (P
