Abstract
Purpose of this study was made to investigate the arteriel blood supply of pelvic and tail regions in New Zelland Rabbits. The common iliac artery divides into two branches, the external iliac and internal iliac artery. Internal iliac artery is smaller, in medially located and directed backward on the dorsal wall of the pelvis branch, where it divergens from external iliac,it vessel gives off the umblical artery. Internal iliac artery appears in the greater ischiatic notch, continues as the siatic artery. It passes backward to the dorsal surface of the superior ramus of the ischium, where it divides into lateral caudal and internal pudental branches. The gluteal cranial artery arises from the internal iliac artery. The obturator artery arises as a thick vessel from the internal iliac artery. The obturator artery leaves the pelvic cavity to anastomose with the r. obturatorius of the deep femoral artery. The internal pudental artery is the terminal branch of the internal iliac artery and it gives off, a. urethralis, a. perinealis ventraüs and a. clitoridis.
Özet
A. iliaca communis, a.iliaca interna ve a.iliaca externa'ya ayrılır. A.iliaca interna, pelvis boşluğunun dorsal duvarına paralel olarak ilerler. Orjininden hemen sonra a. umbilicalis'i verir. A. iliaca interna, n. ischiadicus hizasına geldiğinde a. ischiadica adını alır. A. ischiadica, a. plutea caudalis'e ve a. pudendointerna'ya ayrılır. A. obturatoria, a.iliaca interna'dan çıkar ve a. profunda femoris'in bir dalı olan r. obturatorius ile ağızlasın A.pudenda interna a.iliaca interna'nın bir uç dalıdır. Bu arterden,a.urethralis, a.perinealis ventralis ve a.clitoridis çıkar.
