Determination of NaI (TI) detectors response functions of beta sources by Monte Carlo method

Abstract
The response functions of photons which radiated as a result of internal bremsstrahlung event from point $beta$ sources in the NaI(Tl) detectors of 2"x2" and 3"x3" have been evaluated by using Monte Carlo Method. The photons are followed until their energies are reduced 10 keV or they escape from the detector. The energy losses of electrons have been determined by the detector resolution.

$beta$ parçalanması yapan nokta kaynaklardan iç bremsstrahlung olayı sonucu yayınlanan fotonların, 2"x2" ve 3"x3" 'lik NaI(Tl) dedektörlerindeki cevap fonksiyonları Monte Carlo Yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir. Fotonlar, enerjileri 10 keV'in altına düşünceye veya dedektörden kaçıncaya kadar takip edilmiştir. Elektronların enerji kayıpları dedektör ayırma gücü ile belirlenmiştir
