Abstract
In this study, it was aimed at classifying and comparing the questions used in the Student Selection Examinations (SSE) made between 1990 and 2005 years according to subject matter and Bloom taxonomy. It was analyzed 223 SSE questions by using document analysis method. The classification with subject matter was made by the researcher while the classification based on Bloom taxonomy was made by the commission consisted of 15 researchers in Fatih Faculty of Education at KTU. Results showed that the questions were parallel to lycee chemistry curriculum, and 72% of the questions were at the first three levels according to Bloom taxonomy and 28% of the questions were at the last three levels in the taxonomy.
