Özet
The first big Celali rebellion in Ottoman Empire was begun at the end of the XVI century by Abdulhalim who was known as the nickname Karayazıcı. As a government official (sekbanbaşılık ve subaşılık) it wasn't exactly known the reason of Karayazıcı's rebellion but it was thought that it was because of the changes occured at the end of the century. With the people Karayazıcı gathered, he rebelled in Urfa in 1599s. He increased his popularity very quickly had governed Urfa for 1.5 years. Ottoman Empire tried to impede the rebellion temporarily by giving Karayazıcı a subdivision of a province's rank of a ruler. But Karayazıcı was a cruel leader and when he had been ruling in Amasya and Çorum. Including Sivas and Maraş Karayazıcı increased his activities by threatining the people who had been living there. Because of the fear of Karayazıcı settlers had to move to other towns and cities. From time to time this celali leader won the fights against Ottoman soldiers but in his last fight he was defeated by the Bağdat governor of province and celali leader Hasan Paşa. Karayazıcı ranaway to Canik mountain and died there in 1602.
