Muhasebe Dersi Alan Öğrencilerin Muhasebe Dersine Yönelik Algıları ve Muhasebe Öğretim Elemanlarından Beklentileri Üzerine Mehmet Akif Ersoy Üniversitesinde Bir Araştırma

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine theaccounting students perceptıons of accountıngcourse and accounting prof ession and prospectsfrom accountıng lecturers. In this context, asurvey was conducted to measure expectationsand perceptations of students f or accountingcourses.In the research f ace to f ace with a f ive- point likert scale survey method was used. Thedata obtained f rom the research were analyzedstatistically with SPSS 16.0 program. At result ofstudy, a large portion of the students did nottake accounting courses in high school, theywere moderately experienced diff iculties inaccounting courses and the best method wasexplaining on the board to understandaccounting courses.Furthermore,it is identif iedthat the students want to see teaching staff whouses technology well, can communicate withtheir students in a good way, consolidate steaching and especially who has the ability ofprof essional ethics in their courses.

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, muhasebe dersi alanöğrencilerin muhasebe derslerine ve muhasebemesleğine yönelik algılarını ve muhasebeöğretim elemanlarından beklentilerini tespitetmektir. Bu kapsamda öğrencilerin muhasebedersine yönelik beklenti ve algılarını ölçmeyeyönelik bir anket çalışması yapılmıştır.Araştırmada yüz yüze anket yöntemi ile beşlilikert ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamındaelde edilen veriler SPSS 16,0 programındaistatistiksel analizlere tabi tutulmuştur.Araştırma sonucunda, öğrencilerin büyük birkısmının lisede muhasebe dersi almadıkları,muhasebe derslerinde orta derecedezorlandıkları, muhasebe dersini en iyi anlamayönteminin tahtada açıklama yöntemi olduğusonucu ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca öğrencilerin,özellikle teknolojiyi kullanan, öğrencileriyle iyiiletişim kurabilen, öğretmeyi pekiştiren veözellikle mesleki etik becerisine sahip, öğretimelemanlarını derslerinde görmek istedikleritespit edilmiştir.
