Abstract

This disquisition was aim to detect the allele structures of beta-lactoglobulin (?-LG) gene in Hair (172) and Halep (Damascus) (97) breeds that have been grown in Turkey. A total of 269 goats were analized for the ?-LG-SacII polymorphism by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). In the examined breeds, digestion the PCR products with SacII restriction enzyme show two alleles (A and B) and two genotypes (AA and AB). The genotype BB was not located on both of Hair and Halep variety. Genotypic frequencies of allele B were 0.721 and 0.948 for AA and 0.279 and 0.052 for AB in order. Özet

Bu çalışmada Türkiye yerli keçi ırklarından Kıl ve Halep (Damascus) ırklarında beta-laktoglobulin (?-LG) gen polimorfizminin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada toplam 269 baş keçide ?-LG genotipleri SacII enzim kesimi ile belirlenmiştir. Örneklere ait PCR ürünlerinin SacII enzimi ile kesimleri sonucunda A ve B olarak isimlendirilen iki allel belirlenmiştir. İncelenen ırklarda AA genotipinin frekansı Kıl keçilerinde 0.721, Halep keçilerinde ise 0.948 olarak belirlenmiştir. AB genotipinin frekansı ise Kıl keçilerinde 0.279, Halep keçilerinde ise 0.052 olarak belirlenmiştir. İncelenen her iki keçi ırkında da BB genotipine rastlanılmamıştır.
