The Revolution History and Kemalism textbook which was written by Kemal Kara is chosen for being the example. History in Turkey is written by the help of the official history discourse which was built up in Early Republican Period and prioritized after then. With this historiography method, an us and the other division is created. History is explained only by focusing on Turkey and Turks in terms of wars and eposes. In this article, the idea that in order to democratization or neutralization of history teaching, perspectives of otherized groups should be included in the analysis so should the official history discourse is underlined.
