Surgical procedures for distal hypospadias repair

Distal hipospadiaslı olgularda uyguladığımız cerrahi yöntemler ve sonuçların değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Forty distal hypospadias cases operated between May 1988 and May 1994 in our clinic and followed-up for at least 3 months were evaluated in terms of complications and cosmetic results, retrospectively. Sixteen MAGPI, 15 Mathieu, 6 Hodgson Type II and 3 Horton Devine flip-flap operation techniques were used. One of the cases with Mathieu technique and 2 Hodgson type II patients developed urethrocutaneus fistula. In terms of complication rates, simplicity of operational techniques and the cosmetic results, MAGPI and Mathieu techniques were thought to be the most proper techniques for distal hypospadias cases.

Özet

Kliniğimizde Alayiş 1988-Mayıs 1994 tarihleri arasında ameliyat edilen ve takip süresi en az üç ay olan 40 distal hipospadias olgusunun durumu komplikasyonlar ve kozmetik açıdan retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi. Olguların 16'sına MAGPI (meatal advancement and glanuloplasty), 15'ine Mathieu, 6'sına Hodgson Tip II ve 3'üne Horton-Devine flip-flap yöntemleri uygulandı. Mathieu yöntemi uygulanan bir ve Hodgson Tip II yöntemi uygulanan iki olguda üretrokutanöz fistül gelişti. Kozmetik sonuçlar, komplikasyon azlığı ve ameliyat tekniklerinin basitliği açısından MAGPI ve Mathieu, yöntemlerinin, distal hipospadiaslı olgularda uygun yöntemler olduğu kanısına varıldı.
