Abstract

Two cases with severe mental retardation and microcephaly were admitted to the Pediatrics Department of Çukurova University Hospital and examined in the Genetics Unit. These cases were diagnosed as Seckel syndrome and presented here because the syndrome is very rare and the cases had all the major criteria so far re¬ported for this syndrome.

Çukurova Üniversitesi Hastanesi Pediatri Polikliniğine getirilen ileri derecede mental retarde ve mikrosefalik iki olgu genetik yönden incelendi, Seckel sendromu tanısı konan olgular, bu sendromun tüm major kriterlerini bulundurması ve sendromun nadir görülmesi nedeniyle sunuldu.
