Abstract

Tracheobronchomegaly is a clinical and radiologic entity characterized by increased transverse diameter of the trachea and the main bronchi. In this case report a 40 year- old patient with intrinsic asthma and bronchectasis, who had been followed-up clinically for 11 years is presented. Computerized tomography detected increased transverse diameter of the trachea and the main bronchi. The literature about tracheobronchomegaly is reviewed.

Özet

Trakeobronkomegali trakeanın ve ana bronşların transvers çapının normal değerlerden daha geniş olması ile karakterize klinik ve radyolojik bir antitedir. On bir senedir intrensek astma ve bronşektazi nedeniyle takip edilen hastanın çekilen bilgisayarlı tomografisinde trakea ve ana bronşlarda genişlik tespit edildi. Trakeobronkomegali ile ilgili literatür gözden geçirildi.
